Nichols receives Professionalism Award

Paul F. Nichols was honored with the Arthur W. Sinclair Professionalism Award from the Prince William County Bar Association. The award recognizes a member who demonstrates the highest standards of honor, integrity, competency and courtesy within the legal profession. Mr. Nichols is a founding member of Nichols Zauzig, P.C.

Mr. Nichols has achieved the highest possible level of recognition from his peers in the practice of family law nationwide. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, a national organization with stringent requirements for membership, including peer review and testing. 

In addition, Mr. Nichols has received Martindale Hubbell’s highest rating (AV) for legal ability and ethics. He has also been selected to Super Lawyers® since 2006 and named a Top 100 Virginia lawyer, regardless of practice area, in 2019, 2020, and 2021. In 2021, Mr. Nichols received the Virginia State Bar Family Law Section’s highest honor, the Betty A. Thompson Lifetime Achievement Award. This award is given annually to one member of the bar to recognize that attorney’s substantial contribution made to the practice of family law in Virginia. 

Mr. Nichols has lectured on various family law topics to local bar associations in Northern Virginia, and throughout the state for the Virginia State Bar and Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.
